More than messy play, 914 PLAYS combines hands-on sensory experiences with rich opportunities for imaginative play, social connection, and creative expression. Each week, children explore themed sensory setups and pretend-play areas like kitchens, markets, building zones, and art tables that invite open-ended exploration and storytelling. This blend of sensory and dramatic play sets 914 PLAYS apart, creating a uniquely rich and balanced environment for early learning.
Messy Open Play
Ages 1-6
Our signature 914 PLAYS experience for children ages 1-6 and their caregivers.
For 60 minutes, the studio transforms into a themed world designed for children to explore, create, and discover alongside their grown-up. Each week offers a fresh combination of sensory play, process art, imaginative invitations, and hands-on experiences, creating a new adventure no matter how often you attend.
This mixed-age playgroup is child-led and process-focused, allowing children to move freely through the space and engage with activities at their own pace. Experiences are thoughtfully designed to support a wide range of developmental abilities while encouraging curiosity, confidence, creativity, and social connection.
Children will explore a variety of sensory and art experiences including dry sensory play, water play, playdough, open-ended art invitations, collaborative projects, and themed pretend play. New and familiar materials are carefully curated each week to inspire exploration, experimentation, and joyful learning through play.
From pouring and scooping to painting, building, squishing, and creating, every station is designed to spark imagination and encourage meaningful interactions with materials, caregivers, and peers.
We handle all of the setup and cleanup. Just come ready to play, create, and make memories together.
SenSTORY Play
Ages 1-3
A calm, connection-focused playgroup where stories, sensory play, and simple crafts come together.
SenSTORY Play is a gentle, play-based class designed for children ages 1–3 and their caregivers. Each session begins with a cozy storytime, followed by open-ended sensory exploration and a guided group craft inspired by the book of the week.
This class moves at a slower, more intentional pace, giving young children time to feel comfortable, explore materials at their own rhythm, and enjoy meaningful connection with their caregiver and peers.
What to Expect in Each Session:
• A cozy storytime with a light optional snack to help children settle in and transition into play
• Open-ended sensory stations inspired by the weekly story or theme for free exploration
• A guided group craft completed together with caregiver support
• Simple, hands-on materials designed for early sensory and motor development
• Time for gentle play, exploration, and social connection
• Bubble party ending
90-Minute Enrichment Class : Where play is the curriculum.
Play School Club: Parent & Me is a gentle introduction to preschool routines, learning, and friendships with a trusted grown-up by your child’s side.
Through a balance of structured activities, hands-on learning, and purposeful play, children build confidence, independence, and early school skills while feeling safe, supported, and connected.
Each class follows a predictable routine that helps children become comfortable with the rhythms of a preschool day while allowing plenty of time for exploration, creativity, and social interaction.
What to Expect in Each Session:
• Circle time with stories, movement, and group participation
• Two guided preschool learning activities focused on early literacy, math, fine motor development, art, and problem-solving
• Hands-on themed invitations that encourage curiosity and active learning
• Group games that support listening skills, turn-taking, cooperation, and following directions
• Open-ended sensory play and exploration
• A shared snack time with friends
• A calming closing story to end our day together
Caregivers participate alongside their child, offering encouragement and support as children practice new skills and gain confidence in a preschool-style setting.
Play School Club (Parent & Me)
Ages 1.5-3
2-Hour Enrichment Class : Where play is the curriculum.
Play School Club is a play-based drop-off program designed to build independence, confidence, and preschool readiness through meaningful play.
Play School Club is a nurturing enrichment class for children ages 2.5-4 that blends purposeful learning with the joy of play. Through a balance of structured activities, hands-on exploration, and social experiences, children develop the skills needed for preschool, pre-K, and beyond while having fun in a warm, supportive environment.
Each session follows a predictable routine that helps children feel secure, successful, and confident as they practice separating from caregivers, participating in group activities, and navigating a classroom-like setting.
What to Expect in Each Session:
• Circle time with stories, movement, and group participation
• Two teacher-guided preschool learning activities focused on early literacy, math, fine motor development, art, and problem-solving
• Hands-on themed invitations that encourage curiosity and active learning
• Group games that support listening skills, cooperation, turn-taking, and following directions
• Open-ended sensory play and exploration
• A shared lunch and snack time with friends
• Opportunities to practice independence, responsibility, and classroom routines
Activities are thoughtfully designed to be engaging, playful, and developmentally appropriate while encouraging children to explore, create, and learn through repetition and hands-on experiences.
Play School Club (Drop-Off)
Ages 2.5-4
✨ Know Before You Go ✨
We are so excited to welcome you to 914 PLAYS! To help keep our space safe, smooth, and enjoyable for everyone, here are a few helpful things to know before you arrive.
1) Shoe-Free Facility: 914 PLAYS is a shoe-free space. Grip socks or bare feet are welcome for both children and adults.
2) Sibling Guidelines: We love welcoming families!
• Siblings under 12 months are welcome to attend but must remain in a carrier or stay in the waiting area (in a car seat/carrier or with another supervising adult) for safety.
• Siblings over age 6 are welcome to attend but must be registered for class or remain in the waiting area with another adult. There is a 50% sibling discount when registering.
3) Dress for Mess: Our play experiences are hands-on and sensory-rich. While most materials are washable, we recommend play clothes you don’t mind getting messy.
4) Arrival: Doors open about 5 minutes before class begins. Please plan to arrive on time so your child can fully participate in our group activities.
5) Health & Wellness: If your child has a fever, vomiting, diarrhea, persistent cough, or is not feeling well, please stay home. We are happy to help you arrange a make-up class when space allows.
6) Caregiver Supervision: 914 PLAYS is a caregiver-supervised space. Adults must remain present and actively supervising their child at all times.
7) Photos: We may occasionally capture photos during class for social media and promotional purposes. If you prefer your child not be photographed, please let us know.
